Heatherwood Retirement Community Pancake Breakfast: Heatherwood Retirement Community invited the Knights of Columbus, Veterans, Fire Departments and First Responders to a pancake breakfast this past Friday September 11th from 7:30 – 10:00 am. Grand Knight Chuck Beebe, and brothers Tom Tracy, Joe Mitri, Roy Staszak and Tom Sandri attended. An invitation was also extended by Heatherwood to return for a veterans breakfast as well. Upcoming Degrees: First and Second degrees will be held at St. Joseph’s Downingtown on September 20th and October 25th.
World Meeting of Families: The World Meeting of Families Congress will be held in Philadelphia September 22-25 with a Papal Visit from Pope Francis September 26-27, 2015. A Mass for the conclusion of the World Meeting of Families is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. September 27, 2015 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. George Koch, the Master of the Pennsylvania East District is requesting assistance for drivers to transport the expected 500 Bishops and Cardinals coming to Philly for the WMF between either the Airport or Train Station to the Lowes Hotel on September 19, 20, 25 and particularly 28 and 29. Knight at the Races (KATR): This year’s Knight at the Races has been scheduled for October 10th. Jim Reif and Tom Sandri are coordinating the logistics and will be providing regular updates as they occur. Tickets are available from Tom Sandri tsandri [at] verizon [dot] net 610-286-6305. Volunteers are needed to sell tickets after all weekend masses. See Tom Sandri for sign-up.
Brother knights are requested to bring a bottle of wine or spirits to Monday evening’s meeting for the KATR gift baskets.
Memorial Mass for brother Ralph Westnedge: A memorial mass will be held for brother Ralph Westnedge on Sunday October 11th at the 10:30 mass.
October Business Meeting: Bob Beggs from Good Works in Coatesville will be the guest speaker at the October 12th business meeting. St. Peter’s Good Works committee will also be attending. Anyone interested in co-chairing a committee to support the Good Works ministry, please see Chuck.
Keep Christ in Christmas Billboard: Our target Family Gathering Day for the installation of the Keep Christ in Christmas sign on the church property is set for October 17th. Details for the associated family day will be provided by Roy Staszak at Monday’s monthly meeting.
Adopt a Highway: The adopt a highway trash pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 24th.

Football Sweeps Tickets: Football sweeps tickets are available for $10.00 from Ron Yavorka and Joe Mitri.
Dues payments due and owing for the 2015 Fraternal/Fiscal Year: We are now completing the 8th month of the fiscal year for our Council #10351 and some of you have not yet paid your current and, in some cases, prior years dues. Please take a moment now and draw a check for $25.00 to K of C Council 10351 and send it to Tom Tracy, FS at P.O. Box 190, Honey Brook, PA 19344. Brother Tom’s phone number is 610-273-2245. At our meeting this coming Monday evening, all members who are delinquent in dues will be turned over to the Council Retention Committee for collection purposes. Brother Tom Tracy and I thank you in advance for addressing this important matter.
