APPLEBY’s FLAPJACK FUNDRAISER: Council 10351 is holding a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday June 13th from 8AM to 10AM at Appleby’s 3479 East Lincoln Highway in Thorndale. All proceeds from the event will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Attached is a guest sign-up sheet. Is it important that we pre-sell tickets to help with food planning. Volunteers are also needed to serve and clean-up. If you should have any questions on the event, please contact Brother Roy at rjcastas [at] verizon [dot] net. Please bring all sold tickets to our Council meeting on June 8th.
COUNCIL 10351 2015/2016 BUDGET PLANNING MEETING: A 2015/2016 budget and calendar planning meeting has been scheduled by Grand Knight elect Chuck Beebe for Tuesday June 23rd at 7PM in Meeting Room A at St. Peter Parish. All officers are requested to attend. Council members are welcomed as well. Please RSVP to GK elect Chuck at charleschuckbeebe [at] outlook [dot] com if you will be attending. If you have a specific charity that you would like the Council to support, please send an e-mail to GK elect Chuck with a description of the charity, your connection to the charity, and requested donation amount. Also, if there is an event you would like to propose for the calendar, please send along a description of the event and proposed date.
2015 COUNCIL PICNIC/PIGROAST: Mark your calendars and make your reservations, the 2015 Family Picnic will held at Twin Grove Campground the weekend of July 10th-12th with the Picnic being on the 11th. Twin Grove Campground is located at 1445 Suedberg Rd, Pine Grove, Pa 17963. This is a popular event, and the campground is filling up fast, so make your reservation soon. Interested members should call Twin Grove at (717) 865-4602 to inquire about availability of campsites and cabins. Picnic time & additional details to be announced at a later date.
